have a few questions so hopefully I can get some good advice..
I have changed my diet significantly I eat 100% whole grain bread, pasta, crackers, I drink nothing but water and skim milk; I’ve changed my meat to lean 96%, chicken breasts, turkey bacon and meat, and I eat cheese sometimes and egg whites. I have been exercising for over 1 month now going to the gym at least 3 to 4 days a week for over an 1hour, but I haven’t lost any weight since the 30 pounds I lost when I was diagnosed with diabetes. I have been taken metformin with B12 supplement, and I was told that metformin actually causes weight loss. I guess I should be happy I haven’t gained any weight, but what am I doing wrong. I check my sugar levels all the time and they are always below 140, especially after I eat. I have the belly fat that I am trying to get rid of, but most importantly I’m trying to loose weight so I can stop taking medicine for my diabetes. Can anyone help me with my diet or tell me what I am doing wrong. Yes, I was supposed to go to some class on diabetes to teach me about what I should be eating, but my work schedule has been hectic so I haven’t had a chance to go..PLEASE HELP!!!
